So you have just completed the fundamentals course. You have worked your way through the basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques and you are now looking forward to progressing. There are now both sparring and technique only classes available to you. So what will the sparring classes be like?

Stealth BJJ now has its very own online Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training site. All the lessons that are taught through the week are uploaded so the students can revisit anything that they have missed. This is a great resource for all levels from the complete beginner to the blue belts and above.

The Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Championships took place last weekend in Wolverhampton. We managed to come back with 11 medals in total and both Libby and Chloe
are now world champions! This is a huge achievement given that the competition scene for kids BJJ has grown immensely over the last couple of years.

Womens only beginners Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are going to be starting at Stealth BJJ in July. This will be a great addition to the timetable and hopefully encourage women in Manchester and the surrounding areas to get involved in this amazing Martial Art. The classes will be every Tuesday evening from 7-8pm.

Last weekend 7 members of the Stealth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu youth team travelled from Manchester to compete at the National Championships in Wolverhampton. For many of the children it was their first experience of competing in this exciting sport, but they could not wait to show exactly what they could do.

Stealth BJJ’s Calum and Chris both decided to head to the Rio de Janeiro for an extended training holiday.
