Gareth has studied martial arts since the age of 8 taking up boxing and judo alongside his father. He has held a brown belt in judo since 2014. He began his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the tutelage of Steve Campbell in 2008, achieving his black belt in March 2019.
