This way, new starters are always joining and becoming valuable training partners for the future. To achieve this goal, we developed our BJJ beginners programme. This is a structured, progressive and fun syllabus enabling students to train in a safe environment. This approach means everyone can excel regardless of height, weight or athletic ability.

In 2008, the first Mancunican Brazilian JIu JItsu black belt, Steve Campbell founded Stealth BJJ academy. Since then, the gym has been growing from strength to strength. As a result we now have a dedicated program for beginners and a structured syllabus in place. This allows our students to develop their skills more efficiently and progress through the grading system.
Our Jiu Jitsu coach Steve spent 8 years training at the Gracie Barra headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2007, Master Carlos Gracie Jr. promoted Steve to black belt after a successful competition year at brown belt. Steve went on to compete in some of the biggest BJJ competitions in the world. One of his main achievement was placing in the World Masters Championships at black belt, in Rio de Janeiro, 2007.
